Who you're contracting with

SpyglassBeacon is operated by PerfSpot LLC. By using the SpyglassBeacon app or this website (together, the "service"), you agree to these terms with PerfSpot LLC.

What the service is — and is not

SpyglassBeacon records your device's location to estimate the days you spend in each jurisdiction and to generate day-count reports. It is an informational tool. It is not tax, legal, or accounting advice, and PerfSpot LLC is not a tax advisor or law firm. Residency rules vary by jurisdiction and change over time; consult a qualified professional about your situation.

Day counts depend on your device's location hardware, operating-system behavior, and your permission settings. You are responsible for reviewing your record for accuracy before relying on it.

Acceptable use

Use the service only to track devices you own or control, and only in compliance with applicable law. Don't attempt to reverse engineer, disrupt, or misuse the service.

Our liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, PerfSpot LLC and its operators are not liable for any damages, losses, missed payments, data loss, or other consequences arising from your use of the service. You use SpyglassBeacon at your own risk.

Governing law and venue

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Delaware. Any disputes will be resolved in the state or federal courts located in Delaware.

Assignment

We may transfer or assign these terms and our rights and obligations under them, at any time, to any affiliate, acquirer, or successor. You may not assign your rights under these terms without our written consent.

Changes

We may update these terms as the service evolves; the "last updated" date above will change when we do. Continuing to use the service after an update means you accept the revised terms.
